To train professionals in the educational field, capable of applying diagnostic strategies, and assessing behavior the different development stages.

Student’s Exit Profile

The main competences developed once the degree is obtained are, among 
others:

  • Detects learning problems and makes curricular updates pertinent to the needs detected, to improve students’ performance.
  • Designs, promotes, counsels and assesses counseling programs. As well as detecting and addressing students’ problems at school.

Work Field

The graduate may perform professionally in the following areas:

  • School consultant in educational institutions.
  • Consults and designs work programs.
  • Addresses the psycho-pedagogic department in preschool, elementary, junior high, high school and university.
  • Solves learning and performance problems.
  • Assesses teaching processes and techniques.
  • Vocational guide and professional counselor.
  • Diagnoses and gives solutions to behavior at different development stages.
  • Applies psycho-pedagogic research.
